Common questions

The scan missed an item or got a price wrong.

Tap the item to fix its name or price, or add it by hand at the bottom of the list. For long receipts, take two photos and use “Add another photo”.

How do I invite friends to a group?

Open the group and share its 6-letter code. Friends tap “Join with code” on the home screen and type it in.

Does it work without internet?

Yes. Bills you save offline are kept on your phone and sent to the group when you are back online. Online receipt scanning requires an internet connection. When you’re offline, Statera $plit processes the receipt on your device instead.

How do I delete my data?

Open Settings in the app and tap “Delete my data”. Your display name may remain on past bills in shared groups. See our privacy policy for details on exactly what is removed.

What is free and what is Statera $plit Pro?

The free version reads receipts on your phone, lets you split bills, and shows a small non-personalized ad. Groups are free for your first week: a group takes new bills for 7 days after it is created, and you can always see old bills and settle up. Friends who join your group with its code never need to pay. Statera $plit Pro ($0.99 a month, with a 7-day free trial) adds AI receipt scanning, unlimited groups and no ads. Only the person who created a group needs Pro to keep it open.

How do I cancel Statera $plit Pro?

Subscriptions are managed by Apple or Google. On iPhone: Settings → your name → Subscriptions. On Android: Google Play → Profile → Payments & subscriptions. Deleting the app or using “Delete my data” does not cancel your subscription.
